Turok Dinosaur Hunter Retextured alpha version by Gael Romanet includes the following:

1: The render distance (maxDistance) is now considerably extended (exactly 2 times more drawing distance in this alpha version). Gameplay speaking, 2 times more drawing distance means that, the enemies can see you from two times further, which results in an increased level of difficulty within the game levels. The game levels are more difficult to finish.

2: New crosshair in a turok style.

3: One hundred fifty-three (153) large palm tree models (detail_tree06.bin) have been added within the game levels.

4: The skyMaterials has been rewrote to get rid of the color_diffuse. Also, sky_brown, sky_dark, sky_grey1, and sky_grey2 textures have been redesigned with a resolution of 3072 x 1536 in a .PNG file format. The result is a better lighting rendering for the skies within the game levels.

5: The textures are 4K designed by Gael Romanet. Textures that include, tex0594_00 (3072 x 3072 .PNG), tex0662_00 (3072 x 3072 .PNG), tex0988_00 (3072 x 2048 .PNG), tex0988_01 (3072 x 1536 .PNG), tex0992_00 (3072 x 2048 .PNG), and tex0992_01 (3072 x 2048 .PNG).

For a perfect graphic result, make sure that the following commands are set as follow in the .cfg file (see GaelRomanet_config.cfg file in the game.kpf file):

seta r_fov "90.0"
